Recently, I went through a phase of self-exploration. I decided to choose me! I want to be genuinely happy. I have decided that people, places, things, titles, and status will NOT define me! I pray to God daily for contentment in my circumstances and situations. I ask that He show me that it is okay to be myself, to let go and to be free. I pray that I have everlasting joy. I just want to be enough. I want for my life with me and my daughter to be enough. I am learning to live in the present. I can no longer worry about the things that I cannot change. We spend too much time focusing on the things beyond our control. We must be patient and take things day by day! So, I am sharing my journey, my road to happiness with you. Pouring all of me into self-love, confidence and happiness is the best decision I have ever made and done for myself! At this age, this moment in life, my peace and sanity mean everything to me!Nothing is more essential than having a healthy sense of self-worth and self-esteem, and most importantly loving yourself completely. I ask that each of you be happy with who you are. Embrace everything about you...flaws and all. You are beautiful, inside and out. You are worthy! You are enough! If you ever feel the need to put you first, DO IT! And never let anyone make you feel bad about it! You deserve to be happy! You deserve to love you! I am deciding to do what is best for me!
