Scott is smart enough. He knows there's something wrong - perhaps with everything - but he can't quite put his finger on it. It's 1997, for starters, and he and his girlfriend Emily are in a decrepit yellow Toyota Tercel, drifting awkwardly along an all-too-familiar highway. As he sifts through key moments in their relationship, while simultaneously tabulating the dumbness of his peers and himself, Scott senses he may have almost figured it out. Or has it escaped him, again? In any case, with Alistair A. Vogan's comic take on turning 30 in the mid-90s, there is a growing sense that despite sharing a mode of transportation, you could easily careen over the edge...all ...by...yourself.
