The early church had direct encounters with those who practiced bewitchment through sorcery. In each of the occasions, gospel ministers exercised the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of Jesus' name to crush their evil activities. Keeping the sanctity of the church from evil spiritual influences like bewitchment is one of the responsibilities of the church. We cannot compromise this today and expect a church full of purity and power with members walking in the victory Jesus has purchased with His blood.
