The author talks this book for all those who are either raising handicapped children or working with them in a job. Foster parents, relatives, school teachers and aides dealing with various handicapped individuals are dealing with different attitudes in every day challenges. This book was written from her and her late husbands experiences with dealing with our family members, friends, neighbors and school districts. It is her hope to open up some people's minds on how handicapped children are viewed and treated! None of us are perfect for sure and we have to try to see the value of people different then what society dictates is normal.
