How do I know if God is speaking to me? What does God's voice sound like? How do I become someone who hears God speaking and confidently obeys his voice? It would be nice to hear God as clearly as the patriarchs of the Old Testament or the apostles of the New Testament. Today, many of us who want to follow God's direction for our lives struggle to hear God's unfiltered voice. Unfiltered examines the various ways God wants to communicate with us. This study seeks to help us verify that what we hear is truly God. God will use scripture, prayer, dreams, the Holy Spirit, and even the wise counsel of other believers to get his messages across to us. When we become familiar with his voice and hear it echoing across several of these mediums, we can be certain he is speaking directly to us.
