You hold in your hands my little collection of words. If writing these poems was an act of worship, then publishing them was a step of faith. I secreted this passion for writing inside my heart for years. I finally realized that by refusing to give it a voice, it was burning me from the inside out. If you read this, I want to thank you. I hope that even in a small way it brings you some warmth and gives you some light. All proceeds will go to the A21 Campaign, a nonprofit organization committed to fighting human trafficking.
