When Jared Thompson was twenty-six years old, his dad was diagnosed with a rare form of bile duct cancer. Two years later, his dad died. Six months later, Jared and his wife found out they were pregnant, just eight days before Jared found out he likely had cancer as well. This book aims to tell a story of suffering through a lens that instills hope in the reader. Jared's dad taught him that though we may suffer in life, we can still live brightly, and even help others along the way.
