The Blackjack Troopers are an elite fighting squad modeled after law enforcement of the old age. They protect the citizens who are loyal to their supreme world leader, a dragon named Gorvex. The dragon has won the trust of those who followed him since the beginning. He will always keep his civilization from descending into war-torn chaos. But on his first day on the job, Preston Hatchett joins a Blackjack team battling against a group of renegades. The young recruit is thrust into battle when his enemies possess sorcery banned under Gorvex's regime. To make matters worse, the renegades have produced a golden pearl powerful enough to destroy Gorvex and everything that he has created. And now, the Blackjacks must take the pearl away from their enemies before it is used as the ultimate weapon against the reptile that changed the world.
