A Brief History of the Halton Miniature Railway Society

A personal account of the Society's history, and how its 71/4" gauge line, 40 years old in 2019, came to be part of Runcorn's Town Park and one of the historic town's attractions. The story is told by one of the three co-founders of the Society who was the Designer of the track work and the first 1/4 mile of the line, which is still in use. Some historic photographs are included as well as some of the town's history, which goes back to 914 AD.
