A deadly virus festers in a red satin box on the International Space Station and returns to Earth on the latest space shuttle. When the virus reaches Washington, D. C., the capitol erupts into violence and terror, killing hundreds of people, and threatening even the U. S. president. Suspecting a bioterrorist attack, he calls in FBI Agent Joshtine Cordelia (Cordy), one of the best crime analysts in the world, although on occasion, her talent takes a path to the dark side. She partners with the president's newly formed Rapid Response Team. There is no cure to date. Fighting a ticking time bomb, they face death so others may survive.
