This coming of age production tells the story of Hailee, a university student that is struggling with her sexual identity. She belongs in a group of friends who each are accepting of their sexual preference. When Hailee discovers her sexuality, she struggles to accept who she is and she is soon targeted because of it. However, she and her friends know that in today's society, there is still a growing increase in homophobia and lack of understanding. So they decide to, with the help of Hailee's transgender neighbor, form a project called the Rainbow Squad to promote understanding of the LBGT Community.
