Alex is finally home from the hospital, and trying to remember the people who love her. It's not easy. Everyone is a stranger. Nothing is familiar. Even those who are closest to her. The only things she knows is what has been told to her. Like the fact, she's pregnant, it's Blaise's baby, and she works for Volmer Construction. It's not enough for her. She doesn't want to be empty. The only blimps of her past are the nightmares of the man who took her, harming her. Blaise is trying to be patient. He doesn't know how to help her. She wakes in the night screaming for help, but won't let him touch her. It's agonizing. Painful to hear. It's even worse when he catches her staring at him with longing from across the room, wanting something she can't remember. When Alex's memories do resurface, she's thrown into a world of confusion and hurt, pieces of her mind showing her glimpses of what was truly going on, and finding out Blaise was with another woman.
