This is the true story of a girl who grew up in the hills and hollers of the Bluegrass State. She was bullied as a child back when nobody had even identified bullying as a problem. But she was able to find happiness and fulfillment in learning and creating. Music, poetry, reading and family values kept her moving forward. Although her first marriage failed, she has three wonderful children as a very positive outcome. They and their offspring are a source of enjoyment and pride. Her work eventually became her life until her parents needed her more. Caring for them in their later years was a privilege and joy. Her second marriage brought the realization of many dreams as well as experiences never even imagined, not the least of which is the completion of twenty-six books. As she reaches her twilight years, she realizes she has very few regrets.
