This is the story of a former ARVN Medical Doctor who, after the fall of Saigon in 1975, spent nearly five years in a so-called Communist re-education camp. After release, his family fled the country by boat and reached Indonesia. Eventually they were allowed to re-settle in the US where they prospered. He was able to get his medical license back and worked as a physician until retirement.
