This is a fiction based on fact story. It looks at the raising a family in Bethel Park, in Pennsylvania, in the United States of America, during the 1960s. That was a pretty reasonably easy scenario for the Grady family. In many ways they were very fortunate. Finances were never an issue for them. Working in education gave them opportunity to have lengthy periods of quality time, during school holidays with their three children. Seamus Grady and Eileen O Hara being the main characters, are there almost from the beginning. Both families have Irish ancestors. Their parents and grandparents left Mayo, left Ireland and left Cloontia behind them in pursuit of a better life. Eileen had heard many stories about poverty for her ancestors and living life off the grid in the West . She developed a great love for the country she had never seen. Eileen had a very strong desire to live in Ireland one day. Did life and its many obstacles get in her way, or did she fulfil her dream?
