Honey for Nectar is a phrase born from the idea that when our minds and hearts intertwine and falling in love decides to come unannounced, we must pull from the nectar that the creator has given us and make honey. Who hurt you? Who did you love? Who was toxic? Who will you never forget?Self love is a journey; have you begun? These are questions I thought about while coming up with the concept of Honey for Nectar. This volume of work bears fruit and witness to what love can do to a spirit on the journey on becoming a better self. Poetry, letters and affirmations epitomizes how delicate yet foreboding of love can be. Love is a word that is universal. Most of us have been loved, hated and devastated. We often choose to cremate our pain just to move on but still carry the diseased bones of relationships' past. I hope together you and I can laugh, cry, scream and consider this book a healing process for all the doubt, heartbreak and rage that resided in our spirits from dealing with our own Honey for Nectar.
