Oh Austen, The Hippo, is a children's book inspired by a social worker with the goal to help children better understand peers and family members on the Autism Spectrum. The main character Austen learns to count and prepare himself for school with his mother by his side. Austen has Autism, but he doesn't allow it to stop him from exploring and learning throughout his daily adventures. Austen's goal is to inspire other children like him to learn, explore, and accept others and their differences. Austen is for all kids, to help them learn and grow.
