This is Margaret Tynes Fairley's second collection of poetry. Margaret Tynes Fairley (1902 - 1986) was a lyric poet admired by her contemporaries in the Cambridge Poetry Forum in the late 1920s and in the 1930s. These included Kenneth Patchen, John Holmes, Jack Wheelwright, and Kenneth Porter. They promoted her work, which appeared in The Yale Review, The American Mercury, Nature Magazine, The New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, The Washington Post, the Miami Daily News, and elsewhere. She was friends with e. e. cummings and acquainted with Robert Frost.
