In the Wake of Our Wreckage is a collection of poetry about what happens after the end. It's a patchwork of afterstories and post-credit scenes. It's watching love leave. It's years of winter and daydreams of alternate universes, the weight of solitude and bouquets of thorns, monsoon seasons and paper crane wishes. It's goodbyes and old voicemails, forgetting and muscle memory, last words and final hour. It's getting used to the absence and hoping for better endings. It's waiting, and wanting, and making home out of people. It's the aftermath and the ruins. It's everything left in the wake of the wreckage.
