His voice was just behind me, raising the hair on the back of my neck. Instantly, I recognized his tone. It was him. My biological father. Trying to build up courage, I turned around to face him but there was no one there.
"You have to embrace your powers," his voice said to my left.
I jumped back but still saw nothing. Frantically, I turned from left to right, and when his voice started to speak to me, his words came from all sides. "The boundaries have been broken since you first traveled. I can now find you."
I froze as he whispered in my ear, "Anywhere."
