Some people call me a freak, but I don't feel that way at all. I am happy to be me. So, I was born with some abnormality. Lots of people are. For most of my early life I didn't even know I wasn't exactly normal. I got taken to doctors and my Dad wanted me to have surgery, but my Mum said no, so I got hormones instead which made no difference, as far as I know. No one knew about my secret except my Dad, Mum and the doctors. It all seemed sort of normal to me. I thought they were making a great fuss about something that didn't matter and that I didn't understand. This is the story of how I came to terms with who I am and how I had lots of fun on the way.
