Living alone in a small community in rural New South Wales, Ruby Salomon's life is contracting. When ill-health forces her to seek medical help, her brother conspires with the doctor to have her committed to the dementia ward of an aged care facility. After being rescued by her nephew, Ruby decides to take the law into her own hands. She will need to draw upon all of her life experience and chutzpah if she is to regain control of her affairs and exact retribution on a malevolent brother and corrupt nursing home.
