In the distant future, humanity has confined themselves into sterile, domed cities for fear of catching Hypernecrosis, a deadly virus that has decimated the planet. In one such place, known as Sanctum, lives a woman called Elle Evans. Elle is a reporter for the Sanctum News Network, but she's frustrated: she's never had a real story to report on. One day, an opportunity arises and Elle is promoted to SNN's Wasteland Correspondent - the one person allowed to leave Sanctum to see the outside world. But something goes wrong, and Elle ends up stranded in the barren desert outside. What Elle finds out there will be the greatest story she could ever ask for.
