Layla's life is a perpetual train wreck waiting to crash. Running away from bad relationships only to get into new ones, she has no stability aside from the drugs she puts into her arm and a beat-up old teddy bear. Ryder is a boy with a dead-end job and a guitar. With mental health as rocky as most of his relationships, he's closed himself off except for letting a new girl into his bed almost every night. No strings attached. That's how he likes things. He made that mistake before. Never again. Until he literally picks a girl up off the streets. Layla is thrown off by Ryder's causal way of going out of his way to do nice things for her. No one does anything without wanting something in return. Ryder does have one rule, however: stay off drugs. Easier said than done as she struggles with her feelings for him. When Layla's not-so-distant past catches up with her, it brings up emotions for each of them. Will Layla be forced to run again or will she finally find a place to call home?
