Welcome to this the newest volume of poems and songs by Mr. Hooker. These are an accumulation of some previously published works from as well as new and unpublished pieces. Too me family and the garden go together like hamburgers and buns. The best gardens are those that are the project and passion of all those in the family. The garden will always reflect the personality of the gardener. Having multiple gardeners makes a unique garden which reflects the individuals and the blend of all those whose hands have a part in forming it. Family, each person stands on their own, but together the family is an entity onto itself. We each take our personality plus the commutive personality of our family wherever we go. If you are starting a new family in the world, I would encourage you to start a garden as soon as you can. If you are in an apartment start it in containers on the deck or porch. But start it, work it together, you will be pleased the effect it has on each of you and the beauty of what you create. I write from my own experiences and beliefs, I also sometimes just make stuff up to write a story or make a point. At times I write from the perspective of an animal or a different person. At my age I have a lot of experience to draw from. If you are disturbed by a swear word once in while or the thoughts of a person who is politically liberal then none of my books will be to your liking. Please enjoy these pieces of work some are little stories, some you can hum during your day, some make you feel pretty good that you don't have that problem. Have a nice day.
