Last season, the Southeastern Nebraska Renaissance Fantasy Faire welcomed a new cast member, Sir Russ MacCraven. It also was witness to the brutal murder of one of his castmates, Lady Jane Dare. In helping solve the murder, Russ found love in the form of Sir Brace Dumont, brave Knight on the joust field and man about the village. After a year of watching their relationship grow and flourish, Russ decides it's time to pop the question to Brace. Once Brace accepts, it's a whirlwind of activity planning their wedding, and what better place to get married than at the renaissance festival? King Raymond offers to officiate, and things go smoothly. Until... Another body turns up inside the village walls, and Raymond's new boyfriend is implicated in the crime. Russ and Brace join forces with their friends at the police department, Chief Reg Darby and Captain Bennington, to try to get the investigation concluded before news of a killing at the faire derails the wedding.
