A man from a technological society finds himself stranded on a world in a recently discovered universe where the laws of physics have taken a very strange turn. After going through a tear in the fabric of space in the belief that it could open up instantaneous travel to far reaches of the galaxy, an unlikely hero finds his space craft damaged after an attack and is forced to land on a planet that is very like Earth, but also very different. This is a rollicking sword and sorcery meets high technology adventure as seen from the eyes of a man who must navigate his way through a strange, bizarre, yet beautiful world. A story filled with interesting characters and fantastic situations. Will our hero save the town, slay the dragon, and get the girl? Or will he return to his own world to the fame and likely fortune of being the first man to visit another universe?
