Though sad, all is well with the townsfolk until The Mill suddenly shuts down, Blossom Spring dries up, a case of peanut butter poisoning spreads like a wildfire, and confusion between permanent wave solution and a depilatory threatens to put the premier beauty shop out of business. Is this run of bad luck merely coincidence, or is local busy body Sandra Jane Turmoil correct when she blames Tanner Puddingdome...the cross-dressing mortician who removed Ed's tourniquet; a old blue cloth he wore tied around his leg every day of his life, for unleashing a curse on the town?
