Planet Spoon Travel continues..! Picking up where Attention Focused To Perceive... left off in May 2017, The Trouble With Vietnam sees Spoon bravely undertake his first exploration into this South-East Asian country with the intention of rekindling his teaching skills... and coming a-cropper right from the get go!Thankfully, these troubles eventually pass. After some very dark nights of the soul, and dedicated reallocation of resources, his luck begins to turn. Slowly but surely the initial culture shock subsides, and not only does he find himself teaching more than he can handle, he also finds himself involved in what would turn out to be a committed relationship. Written up until his departure in April 2018, The Trouble With Vietnam reveals Spoon's deepest reflections yet as he courageously tackles three relationships at the same time: first with the country and culture, second with his devoted American partner, and third, of course, with himself.
