This blog is the story of our wonderful World Voyage on the Cunard ship, MV Queen Victoria. I had dreamed of doing a World Voyage on a Cunard ship ever since I was hooked by my first transatlantic crossing on the venerable original RMS Queen Elizabeth in 1962. My husband and I were finally able to realize that dream with a wonderful 91-day voyage on Queen Victoria, across the world's two greatest oceans, through two seas, and, especially memorable, a navigation up the world's greatest river. Along the way, we had many unforgettable experiences, saw many amazing sights and, best of all, met many wonderful people. This book lays out how we prepared before embarkation and all that we experienced during our voyage. Hopefully, it will inspire you to have your own seafaring adventure.
