The remarkable true story of a Chicago prostitute and how she escaped the dangerous, sometimes life-threatening life. Her name was Kim Roberts. Moving to Chicago from a small town was supposed to be the start of their adult life. Instead, the four adventurists found themselves in a position they would never have chosen for themselves. Two were put on a bus out of town at gunpoint, one would end up dead and the fourth would live a life that was controlled through mental and physical abuse. She was forced to become a person she had no connection with. To survive this transformation, she had to symbolically hide herself behind a door hidden deep within her psyche.
