The ancient scrolls of the thaumaturges state that every hundred years the Sun and the Moon each gift a child. They will be raised and trained separately, zones apart. They are destined to meet for one purpose and one purpose alone. They will compete to reach zenith, by consuming the other's energy and obtaining a state of maximum power. Amaya Liavana Darcel is a sixteen year old girl, born with a magical gift from the moon. Exiled from her home, she is left with only the forest as her family. Luckily for Amaya, she doesn't mind being alone with the trees and starry night skies. This is the life for her. But when in her dreams she meets Uriah, a boy who was gifted by the Sun, everything changes. Amaya will have to learn how to navigate these new dangers if she wishes to survive.
