The intrinsic reality of the world is stranger than we think. Its strangeness is in its utter simplicity. A Philosophy Of Balance captures and exposes this most elusive simplicity - the simplicity of the obvious that is hidden in plain sight. The mental world is a distinct realm. It is not the same world as the physical world. Nonetheless, the mental world and the physical world cannot be taken as totally disconnected domains. They are both members of an intertwined transcendental world that is in itself a Whole. The Whole is its own mind, and from that transcendental mind flows the innovative ideas that spark the continuous evolution of all beings, physical and mental, in quest of value preservation as an undivided entity. We contribute to this eternal process by developing the Self and our personhood to the state of love-of-being and in the form of an active good. The pursuit of real happiness is the development to love-of-being. True happiness is love-of-being. Willingly connect to the Whole as an active good, and the Whole shall connect to you as a necessary good in ways untold and yet unseen. It is a simplicity hidden in plain sight. We learn to 'see' the simplicity not through our eyes, but in our mind. All it takes is a commitment to put conscious effort in 'opening the eyes' of the mind and develop the Self to the state of love-of-being as an active good in the world. Seek and one shall find. It is this breathtaking complex balance system that we are going to scrutinize in this second book of A Philosophy of Balance.
