The Committee, a secret government organization, destroyed an Earth colony of an ancient intelligent species known as the Greys. A Grey terrestrial craft escaping the colony's collapse is recovered by the US Military, stored in underground bunkers and studied by scientists. The Greys track and locate the missing craft, discover the bunkers, and demolish them. They determine humans are a threat to their existence and begin an assault against Earth. The Greys attack on humanity is indefensible. Mr. Nix, a Commander of the Committee, is on a field mission when the assault commences. With planetwide destruction and humanity's resources under siege, Mr. Nix struggles to survive while humans turn on each other. As the apocalypse descends mankind into chaos, scientists Dr. Black and Professor Walter Tomb create experimental weapons and unlock alternate timelines in attempts to stop the Greys, but each effort meets defeat. Victory may not be possible.
