Three people, three extraordinary dogs. Wishes fulfilled, lives transformed. Inspired by three true life people, these are the stories of how dogs are more than pets, they are both family and friends. Cinda Hawley, newly divorced, seeks to create a better life for herself. Mavis Edwards, a special education teacher, seeks to build a connection with a special needs child who seems very alone in the world. Jake Simpson, whose life has been upended, needs something to believe in. All three of them meet dogs who with their unconditional love help to transform each of these folks for the better, enriching their lives beyond measure.
