Flesh Waste
Ken Ra
Cole Lamorte is tall, dark-haired, and if his mother was alive she'd lie and say he's handsome. As a middle-aged felon, he finds himself on death row where his cellmate knocks him into a coma. Death appears in his dreams to offer him redemption. The catch is that Cole must teach a society the difference between garbage and human remains. A satire about how humans acknowledge the corpses of their kin. Humor and dread (morbidly) work together to tell the tale of how one man's regretful life reaches a point where he must weigh the value of a second chance.
