Fishing Tournament is a strategy guessing game for two players. Try to 'cast' to hit your opponents fish by guessing where they might be hiding on the grid. To avoid being hit by the your opponents 'casts' you must devise a strategy to hide your fish in safe areas, that's how your fish survive being caught and win playing the Fishing Tournament Game. This Game is for any occasion: Vacation, school vacation days, weekends when there is nothing to do (Mom I'm bored!), rainy days, snowy days, road trips, play days, sleepovers and when relatives visit and even more! All you need is this book (or two) and a pencil or pen. This fun activity book makes a great prize for birthday parties, an activity for holidays get together or the long trips by car or plane to vacation destinations (are we there yet?). This book is 120 pages of fun, contains a This Book Belongs To Page, an Instruction Page and 118 game sheets. View the contents by clicking the "Look Inside" link upper left corner of this page. Fishing Tournament InstructionsTo play Fishing Tournament you and your opponent will each need one page of the book (or purchase two books). Before play begins, secretly arrange you fish on your boardby drawing rectangles around the squares they occupy. A Catfish for example will be one rectangle that surroundsfive squares in a row. Each player has one Catfish, oneTrout, one Bass, two Crappie and three Bluegill (which eachoccupy just one square each). Once both players have drawn their fish on the board, play begins. The first player will call a grid square, for example "B3". Their opponent will answer 'Fish' or'Miss'. If they 'hit' their opponent's fish, they mark that square with a circle on their opponents board andmake another guess. Guesses (casts) continue until they 'miss'. Misses should be marked with a cross on the opponent board. Once the player misses, it is the opponents turn to guess (cast). Play continues until one player hits all of his opponents fish. Fishing Tournament variation: Advanced players may fire (cast) an agreed amount of multiple casts (guesses)at timeand may answer like this, "Three fish and two misses" sotheir opponent must deduce which casts were successful.
