Author, Rachel Wood's life has come to a major crossroads. Middle age, and still living with her boyfriend John for the past five years who refuses to commit holy matrimony. Feeling overwhelmed she decides to take some time off just for herself which consists of staying in a lavish rented cabin in the remote area of the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Once arriving she's introduced to the cabin's caretaker. A very robust, and exceptionally handsome African American man named Andre, who suddenly shows up unexpectedly while Rachel is sunbathing on her front porch to inspect the newly renovated cabin. Alone, and secluded Rachel soon starts having surreal visions of being intimate with the captivating stranger, and is drawn into a bounding web of burning desire that she can't seem to control. Afterwards leaving her with a terrible feeling of guilt that tears at her soul, and in the the end having to reveal the truth to the only man she has ever loved by expressing her dark fantasies of betrayal.
