From Tahiti to California to Paris and back, everyone seems to be in survival mode, with death and destruction in hot pursuit. Seduction and blackmail keep Olivia busy, while Luc piles up gambling debts to the French Corsican Mafia. Although the Mob always plays for keeps, intimidating its female victims with assault and rape, Luc is offered the coveted role of a double agent and appears to be riding the crest of the wave. Turi tries to help Olivia cope, but he is powerless to prevent the Mob from carrying out its usual drive-by mayhem and hit-and-run assassination. Attempts at disguises ultimately don't fool anyone, and multiple murders are inevitable. When the survivors finally make it back home, they find that their personal lives have been forever changed. They must figure out a way to pick up the broken pieces and start over, again.
