King Nabil launched his effort to make more money in the slave trade and sent his chief businessman, Chimezie to investigate. After the oppression he witnessed and some other worldly experiences, Chimezie returned to warn King Nabil to protect the people and end the slave trade. Instead the King sought the support of his slave trading partners and turned a blind eye when they killed Chimezie. Now they want to exact revenge on Chimezie's family. The king has reorganized his slave trading, but he has to navigate the political landscape. To his north the Ashanti king would love to overthrow him and have a port on the coast. The European slave traders just want slaves and don't care who provides them. Little does king Nabil know the forces at work on both sides of the spirit world to hold him accountable for his actions. Who will survive?
