It contains stories of terrifying situations, uncontrollable circumstances that dangle death before you. Experiences that defy logical thinking. It shares experiences of visions and voices that guide paths to faith. It covers being affected by gut-wrenching grief while seeking answers. It finds humor in learning through the process of fear. It explores unexpected gifts from God that surprise us. There are occurrences that cannot be explained except as miracles. There are stories of awareness of God's presence in communications. It touches on the effects animals have on our lives. These personal stories lead to new knowledge for the writers, an awareness of the presence and direct participation by God in each event. God speaks frequently in whispers but often responds in thunderous ways. I hope this book will open readers' eyes to events in their own lives where God was and is actively present.
