LITTLE FUGITIVES is a story for animal lovers. With a lot of empathy, the author tells a story about a group of domesticated animals searching for a place where they can live in peace, away from people. The main character is a small piglet born on the factory pig farm. When she gets separated from her mother she starts a long journey to find a safe place to live, which becomes the journey of self discovery and examination of the world around her. On the way she meets and befriends several other animals. Although the animals are very different from each other they form a strong bond and help each other. After finally finding a good and safe place to live the piglet is tormented by the memory of her suffering mother. With a help of her loyal friends she makes the journey back to the commercial pig farm, where she was born, determined to rescue her mother.
