The characters in this book are diverse, many of them go to churches, so they must be surely? A mixture? How far can or should you realistically extend that? Running the Wexxen Street community group was never ever going to be easy. Devoid probably gained it's reputation there. This story has funny moments and some quite disturbing. An intrigue definitely unfolds, then there could only be utter disbelief, that it could ever happen at all? Did a short supply of compassion actually create scenarios whereby the calls of some in need could be ignored, was there more to it, something much deeper lurking behind, waiting for that opportunity to tap them all on the shoulder? How might they survive at all? Or was that just part of a quite deceptive, then quite corporate damage limitation strategy? This should evoke feelings. Encouraging and sometimes quite callous and cruel even, spiritual and with a depth, of course motivational. Some may also feel alarmed by this read, there is no hiding that unfortunately and may even question how much of this could be fiction and what were you actually doing not to have been aware of it, or more aware? And what truths lie oh so firmly and exist within the pages. Meaningful. For sure, as painful as it can be, results do not always happen as quickly, or even how you might expect?
