"Irish Ides" takes place in the backdrop of the political unrest witnessed primarily in Northern Ireland during the mid-1980's. The various political/religious groups fight for their ideals to become the dominate force in the country. This unrest spills over into Stephen Masters' mission. In the middle of the mission to Northern Ireland there is a political assassination of a major figure in the country. These forces combine with the influence of organized crime to try and stop Masters' team from discovering too much information for the ultra-secret group he works for-The Council headquartered in Washington, D. C. As these forces roll together the next hurdle for the team is the intrigue of the unsolved mystery of the theft of the Irish Crown Jewels. It is a story filled with tense fast action and conflict as all the forces are hoping to halt the mission of Stephen Masters. The story ends in the exotic and magnificent setting of Machu Picchu in Peru. Another complex fast paced action spy thriller for Masters and his team, so complex and difficult that it threatens his relationship with his team member and lover Joyce Hurtado
