I have to get a grip on my emotions. This is the reason for the title of this book. "Let's Get a Grip... Shall We!!!" Get a grip is defined as - "keep or recover one's self-control." I was losing my self-control on the Word of God and I was sinking fast. I actually laid in bed with my hands on my head and I repeated over and over again, "Get a grip!" Sometimes we lose our hold on what we need to be clinging to. Sometimes we allow ourselves to get caught up in the fear of what Satan throws at us. But there is Satan's realities and God's realities. If you are flailing about, like you are drowning in a sea of hopelessness or fear, I would say to you, "Peace Be Still!" Jesus is right there with you. All you need to do is to regain your focus. Chillax will you! It's gonna be okay! Okay?
