This is the story of Julius Caesar's fight against corruption and greed that was destroying the Republic of Rome. Few appreciate that after his assassination by the corrupt Senate, it was his nephew Caesar Augustus that carried out their plans to take over the Country and clean up the mess those corrupt politicians had left behind. The key was to remove Cleopatra and Mark Antony and take over Egypt as their personal property using that wealth to make themselves independant of Rome's Politicians. Octavian, as he was called earlier, used King Herod as his ally in that plan allowing him to share some of the treasure from Egypt and was the source of the wealth that allowed him to become Israel's greatest builder. As for Cleopatra, her story was quite different from the rubbish written about her and for that we have to thank Egypt's Arabic rulers for their research for what survived from Rome was 100% derogatory propaganda wriiten by over 40 tract writers under Octavians direction.
