"We emerged out of the darkness from a place called 'The Deep, ' and at a time none was all, and everything was nothing, yet there was no such thing as time. Inertia was all about statics, nothing moved something, and something stood under no obligation of anything to survive..."

(EL'Herud)

Doctor Awe was a middle-class family man trying to make ends meet but his daughter suddenly developed cancer and that changed the course of his life. He embraced an adventure that promised to finance the medical bills of his only daughter Eniola and it was in his adventure that he discovered a world before our world, and a planet Earth that had her awareness bounded in her bones (Helhi Ai). Doctor Awe became an embodiment of a primordial force and multidimensional being (El'Herud) and traveled back in time to the world that was called the Great republic of Ai and lived among her inhabitants, entities which later became the Earthly gods. The nature of his experiences questioned everything he believed in and even as a Doctor of Philosophy he encountered realities that challenged his ability to comprehend them; but he must make a stand and choose between his family, or save the world from the threat of annihilation.

From the Author

M. A. Esan developed interest in writing at a very tender age and that was inspired by his love for short stories, magazine comics, comic books and fairy tales. In his early twenties he was able to get his hands on the works of the likes of J.k. Rowling, Stephen king, Theodore Beale, Ilyan Kei lavanway, Jason Tesar, William. A. Anderson and later Neil Gaiman and their works encouraged him to expand his imaginative capacity. The creation of Aeons before time was inspired by his appreciation of the work of John Milton: paradise lost, a study of the Judaeo-Christian lore, the history of the early Christians, the Gnostic gospel and thoughts about how Religion has influenced our social life. Aeons before time is a relatable story with a lot of dynamics and is an enjoyable read for any lover of science fiction, dark fantasy and epic story.
