This short story might make you cry. Adam was the most charming funny and handsome guy that Ivy knew in fifth grade. She thought he would make a great boyfriend, but there was one problem. He didn't know that she was alive. In high school, Adam and Ivy became friends and there seemed to be hope that he might actually see her as more than just a 'little sister' like every other guy she was around.

Against all odds, Ivy finally got her dream man during her senior year of high school. After wanting him for so long their relationship had an abrupt unexpectedly short run due to a teenage pregnancy. Wright felt she had a decision to make, which laid the foundation for more pain and confusion for her about what love really is and how it is supposed to work.
