Joan d'Ark still struggles to learn her place in the darkness. As the hundred years war wages around her Joan is seperated from friends and her Michel. The humble British soldier who has captured her love battles a terrible curse. Trying to get to him Joan's dark sire heaps treachery most foul upon her. Treachery that brings the feared Crusaders with their blood red crosses to sweep Paris clean of all evil with Joan the prime target for their zealotry. Joan's youthful 19 years of life has not prepared her for the minds of men, but mostly she battles with this new un-life. This deathly state that rages against her senses, love of God and salvation lost. Severely wounded she trudges on desperate to escape the crusaders, save her friends and battle the curse Michel may endure. Can Elsie the Witch use her magic to help, or Religious Brother Juneau the Monk conflicted by his sisters magic, or possibly Eva the Reverend Mother and warrior priestess of tempting beauty.
