The Crooked Lake Kids live and play in the North woods of the USA. It was a summer day when The Kids stumbled across and discovered their new friend, Buddy, who just happens to be a "Bigfoot," about the same age and the same size as they are. Buddy doesn't talk, but the kids "hear" what Buddy has to "say" in their minds. Sam, Hailey, Andy, Emma, Danny, and their Black Lab puppy named Rocky, all live around Crooked Lake, and they operate out of their secret clubhouse there. The Kids learned that Buddy has some "magical" abilities, which include being able to transport them all from one location to another if need be.
